The El Credito Cigar Factory
The spirit of Little Havana is alive at the El Credito Cigar Factory with Cuban native cigar rollers, original mahogany wood rolling tables and Cuban styling cabinetry. The factory is not only the birthplace of La Gloria Cubana cigars. It is where the Artesanos de Miami brand is made exclusively and the oldest operating cigar factory in the United States. 2008 marked its 40th anniversary. Visitors are welcome to stop by, see the rollers in action and take a tour. Located in the heart of Little Havana at 1110 S.W. 8th Street, the factory is open Monday – Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturday from 11am to 4pm. (877-523-9945)

I have been to the factory 3 times now. It is truly amazing to see these masters in action. They are so welcoming and happy to stop and talk. An experience that completes any trip to Miami.

I have been to the old la gloria factory but not the new one, I tell you, it is so cool to see little havana with all the cigar stores. La gloria does make a miami beach churchill sold only in the store in little havana, please be sure to check it out, it is an amazing stogie and really puts you into the spirit of south florida and little havana especially after you take them home and light up! ahh the memories!
